Contreplaqué noir TruFlat®

I was pleasantly surprised when I realized how easy and clean cuts were and best of all the was little to no residue which was easy to wipe off. Of course the product lives up to the company name but I was impressed how stable the material was.

Well, I'm always a bit hesitant when a vendor says these are truly flat. I received my order placed it in my laser and it is perfectly flat! I'm making some Christmas ornaments using the maple as the background, walnut as the front overlay, and white with for the front wording which attaches to the walnut. I made these same ornaments last year, left the background plain, stained the next layer and painted the words white. It was a bit tedious, but it got the job done and they sold well.
Using TrueFlat I didn't have to paint and the outcome is as professional as can be! I used CA glue during assembly and the ornaments look 10 times better than regular plywood.
Cleanup was also a breeze! I wiped them off with a damp and dry cloth and they cleaned up very well. The wording on the maple is crisp and clear with no smoke or burn marks. Overall, TrueFlat is definitely worth it!

Unfortunately it was warped. It doesnt help that i live in the middle of the Mojave desert. Five percent humidity.

​I purchased four sheets of TruFlat maple plywood and was fully prepared to pay the premium price for the material. However, I was hit with an unexpected $30 shipping charge at checkout—which I suspect might be due to recent tariffs. The worst part was the delivery itself: all four sheets arrived so badly damaged that they are completely unusable. While the damage likely occurred during transit, receiving an entire batch of ruined material is incredibly frustrating.

Great cut and engrave. No bending or warping. Had issues with the white though. Couldn't figure out what the settings were for a perfect cut

Cuts really well on my S1 at full power and 2 passes. Very happy the panels over all

Absolutely love love love this wood!!! Cuts nicely, and engraves so well. The ease of wiping off any soot is fabulous! My only source for wood from now on!

Great product

Amazing product and works as advertised. Much less messy than regular plywood: no glue residue sticking to the laser cone, the grid. And less smelly to boot.
And the surface is amazing. You only need a damp towel to have a nice surface and clean edges.
